Rhianne Jones

BBC Research and Development, Research Lead

Rhianne is a Research Lead in BBC R&D looking at ethical and responsible approaches to data and the development of AI. She directs a programme of research and development into the challenges and opportunities that come with increasing use of personal data, automation & AI in public service broadcasting, seeking to inform the development of responsible data practices in the public sector and creative industries.

Rhianne is a BBC representative for the International Partnership on AI and she regularly works with university and industry partners to conduct research with a view to inform technical and policy developments.
